CIFF 2025 – Frequently Asked Questions

FILM SUBMISSIONS

1. I have submitted my film. What’s next?
All film submissions will receive a status update via FilmFreeway by 1st August 2025.
Please keep checking your FilmFreeway dashboard and email for the official notification.
Only selected filmmakers will be directly contacted for next steps.

2. How will I know if my film has been selected or rejected?
The status will be updated on your FilmFreeway profile.
If selected, the CIFF programming team will also reach out to you via email for further coordination.

3. My film got selected. What’s the process after that?
Selected filmmakers will be contacted personally for next steps, including material submission, screening format requirements, festival passes, and scheduling. A dedicated festival coordinator will guide you through everything.

TICKETS & PASSES

4. I’m unable to book tickets on the CIFF website or District app. What should I do?
In case of technical issues, try clearing your browser cache or using a different device/browser.
If problems persist, please contact the CIFF support team via the helpline or email provided on the CIFF website.

5. What’s the difference between a Day Pass and a Season Pass?

  • Day Pass (₹499 + GST): Valid for any one day of the festival.
  • Season Pass (₹1299 + GST): Grants access to all three days (8–10 August), including screenings and masterclasses (subject to availability).

6. I booked my pass. How do I choose my films or sessions?
