Synopsis
INDIA LOCKDOWN is a multi-narrative film. It contains four distinct stories exploring the lives of disparate characters who are catapulted into unforeseen dramatic situations instigated by the lockdown due to corona pandemic. These stories unfold in linear chronological order. One story connects with other directly or indirectly during the course of the film. A workaholic female pilot is extremely busy flying across the globe, and has no time for relationships. In lockdown she is stuck at home and misses her work. The lockdown gives her time to reflect on herself, her Relationship and what’s important to her.
An old, Retired man living alone with his dog in a posh society in Mumbai, wants go to Delhi to be with his pregnant daughter at the time of her delivery due in a few days. His plans are ruined and for the first time in his life he has to live without any house-help. He decides to drive to Delhi to
surprise his daughter.
A prostitute has lied to her mother that she is working as a nurse in Mumbai. Her story is about her struggles for survival as prostitution is
shut-off during the lockdown, and also about her Redemption in her brothel life.
